Refund policy
Returns
You May return most new, unopened items within 5 days of delivery for a refund in the original form of payment. After 5 days of delivery, all purchases are final with no returns.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@doocreations.com. If your return is accepted, the return shipping fee will be at your own expense. Returns must be shipped to our Ottawa, Ontario, Canada address.
- Please ensure that all items are in their original packaging.
- Items must be in brand new condition; unopened and without stains.
- Please include a copy of your receipt.
- Please note that we cannot refund shipping costs
Please note that all FEEDING products are FINAL SALE for hygiene reasons.
Doo Creations will not accept any returned merchandise without prior written communication and a Return Authorization Number.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
All refunds will be subject to a 3% fee. This covers the payment processing cost we incurred when we processed your original order.
For PayPal payments, as of May 7, 2019, PayPal changed its refund policy and no longer refunds the retailer’s transaction fee (2.9% of the transaction) when we process a refund for you. For orders that were originally paid for via PayPal, we will cancel and refund the order, less the 2.9% PayPal transaction fee.
Order Cancellation
We may be able to cancel your order if it is still in the preparation process. By the time you have received your shipping confirmation, it is likely that your order has been shipped and out of our door, the order cannot be canceled by then.
Damages and Lost Packages
At Doo Creations, we carefully inspect all merchandise prior to shipping. We do not assume any responsibility for damages that are caused by the shipping company.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item has manufacturing defects.
Please note that the natural markings and textures on the wooden toys are totally normal, and they are not defective products.
A tracking number will be provided to you after the package is shipped. We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Fulfillment Mistakes
If we have made a mistake and sent you the wrong item, we will find a way to make it right. We'll replace items if we still have stock available, work with you to find the best solution: replacement items, or offer a refund.
Fulfillment mistakes made that result in the shipment of incorrect products to you will absolutely be accepted for return. Doo Creations will cover all shipping costs for you to return the incorrect items, as well as to mail out your replacement items.
Incorrect Address
Please always check if you entered the correct address. Once a parcel has been shipped we cannot alter the shipping address. Customers carry the return shipping fees and/or any applicable fees if a parcel is undeliverable due to an incorrect address. All orders will have to wait to be RTS (returned to sender), at which time the customer will be contacted and issued a re-shipping fee.
Gift Cards
We cannot refund any gift card orders.
Gifts
All refunds are made against the original transaction and form of payment.
Misprints
We will try our best to provide up-to-date product and shipping information. However, there might still be mistakes since we are all humans. In the event that an error does occur, we reserve the right to correct or cancel an order at any time, and/or correct the error on our website.
